It went further to define Aptitude :“An aptitude is an innate component of a competency (the others being knowledge, understanding, learned or acquired abilities (skills ) “

It means your talent can be hidden or not hidden. You may have the best talent but won’t use it if you don’t have the idea that it will work for wealth creation. This is where many find themselves failing.

Bill Gates had an idea way back as a student in Harvard School. He was fired. He wanted to see where software is used to power computers. He identified a problem. He is a deep thinker who identified a problem. His talent is in thinking. He dropped out of school to start a big software company. He bought Microsoft from someone and started leasing it to IBM. He recognized using leverage to make money instead of active income. Almost all computers have Micro Soft and this is paid for. In fact, he was making more money than the IBM box manufactures. IBM was working hard while Bill Gates was working smart. All he did was create software and became rich through CREATE AND GROW RICH USING THE INTERNET

Mark Zuckerberg was a student and had talent in creativity but had an idea of social networking sites. This is why Facebook came to be and over took the world of social networking right now. He discovered his hidden talent and became rich.

Most people have great talent but never use it. They blame their failure on others, the society, parents or uncles. This should not be.

The following are therefore how to identify your hidden talent and use them.

1, Weigh your Gains from not implementing Your Talent.

Most people want to blame their failures on several factors including people, the society, or others. You will need to weigh what you are gaining from not using your talent. This include fear that your talent will fail, or you will be laughed at, meaning you are afraid to start a business or creative idea you have because you have the fear it will fail. Once you have weighed this and you know also what you ought to gain which you are not gaining now due to your thinking and belief system, it is time you drop the old method of thinking and move on with your ideas.

2. Reflecting on the Mirror

You know as I said earlier we are all bunch of ideas and talent. Look inwardly and see things that you do and others are saying “I wish I could do ------(complete this blank) as good as you” and you say that thing I do is nothing. Then know your talent lies there. Convert that to a dream with creative wealth and become useful to yourself and the society.

3. Use what others are seeing in you but you don’t see;

Sometimes there are talents inside you but you don’t discover them. If you must use the talent you are not seeing inside you, then you must be very open minded. Once people start to see you as a great teacher, a creative writer, you must sit down and have introspect of that. You will need to look inward on what subject you are passionate about. It must be something you do without looking at it as work but fun.
